Simple Caesar’s Salad

2-person serving

  • Preparation Time: 5 minutes
  • Cooking Time: 15 minutes
  • Calories (Estimate): 360 calories per serving


  • 2 Whole Roman Lettuce, cut half in length wise
  • 100g Smoked Salmon  
  • 2 Egg, 3 quarter Boiled, peeled and cut in half
  • 4 tbsp Sour Cream
  • 2  tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 4 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Lime, collect it’s juice
  • 50g shredded  Parmesan Cheese
  • A pinch Salt & Pepper, adjust to taste
  • 3 Slices of Baguette
  • 1 tbsp Pesto Spread


  1. Roman Lettuce washed well in salted ice water for 5 minutes.
  2. Boil the Egg in salted water for 9 minutes and cold down in iced water for 5 minutes.
  3. Sour Cream and Dijon Mustard mix together, adjust the taste with a pinch of Salt & Crushed Black Pepper.
  4. Drain well the Roman Lettuce and place in Salad plate.
  5. Peeled the Egg carefully, make sure not to break, cut in half diagonally and nicely place in Salad Plate.
  6. Twist the Smoked Salmon and put beside of Roman Lettuce .
  7. Pour Sour Cream Dressing beside of Smoked Salmon and Roman Lettuce.
  8. Then put on top and garnish with shredded Parmesan Cheese.
  9. Spread Pesto on slices of Baguette and toasted, serve together with Simple Caesar’s Salad.
