Steam Anchovy Fish


  • 2 Anchovy fish (640g), cut into 2 pieces
  • 3 onion, minced
  • 5 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cm ginger, minced
  • 3 red pepper, boiled, seedless, mashed
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon chicken powder
  • 1 table vinegar
  • 5 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 7 small onion, peeled
  • 4 lemon grass, crushed

Cooking method:

  1. In a bowl, combine onion, garlic, ginger, chicken powder and salt. Add Anchovy fish and vinegar, mix well.
  2. Place lemon grass at the bottom of slow cooker.
  3.  Add Anchovy fish, oil and 2 cup of water and cook with high mode in slow cooker for 4 hours, until fish bones are tender.
  4.  And last add onion and cook another 1 hours.Steam fish is ready to eat, transfer to a bowl and garnish.
  5.  Serve anchovy fish steam curry with rice.
